Rebecca began drinking abusively when she was in the ninth grade. Fortunately for her, although she drank abusively and hazardously when she was a teen and a young adult, over the years she has been mostly a moderate drinker.
After she completed her education she eventually got a job at a local brewing company where she worked her way up from stock person, to office assistant, to purchasing assistant, to purchasing manager. Unlike her other work positions, as the purchasing agent she over and over again took potential vendors and existing vendors to lunch and to a variety of sporting events.
Though it was not written in concrete, meeting with existing vendors and potential vendors continually involved circumstances in which alcohol was present. In actual fact, over the past eleven months, Rebecca had begun to radically increase her work related and her social drinking. This has resulted in a dilemma. Namely, the more successful she became as a purchasing agent, the more she began to drink.
Her Increasing Bouts of Depression Also Made Her Question Whether She Was Becoming an Alcohol Dependent Individual
In point of fact, it didn’t take much time at all before Rebecca’s hazardous and irresponsible drinking started to negatively affect her mental health, her work efficiency, the money in her savings account, her health, and her relationships. After many weeks of heavy drinking, Rebecca, in point of fact, started to get nervous about her hazardous and excessive drinking and wondered if her alcohol related issues were alcoholism signs. What is more, her increasing feelings of depression also made her question if she was becoming an alcohol addicted individual. In a word, Rebecca clearly needed to learn more about the facts about alcohol abuse and alcohol dependency.
Rebecca Needs Alcohol Detoxification and Alcohol Rehab For Her Alcohol Addiction and Treatment For Her Depression
So Rebecca used her reasoning skills, called her healthcare practitioner, and made an appointment for a thorough physical exam. The next week when she saw her healthcare practitioner, Rebecca regrettably discovered that she was addicted to alcohol. Her healthcare professional informed Rebecca that she needed to get alcohol detox and alcohol treatment for her alcoholism and that she also needed to get a medical evaluation regarding her depression. In a word, Rebecca needed treatment for her alcoholism and depression.
The Positive News is That After Her Treatment For Alcohol Dependency and For Depression, She Felt Like a Different Person
Her family doctor recommended to Rebecca that she take a 30-day leave of absence from work and get enrolled in a quality in-patient alcohol rehabilitation program where her depression could also be evaluated and treated. This is precisely what Rebecca did. Fortunately after her treatment for depression and for alcohol addiction, she felt like a different person. In fact, now that she was living an alcohol-free life she rarely got depressed and she now knew how to better manage her relationships, her job, her finances, and her health.
It almost goes without saying that the most challenging “test” Rebecca ran into was at the office. Stated briefly, she still took her existing vendors and potential vendors to various sporting events and to lunch, but after her alcohol rehab she managed to stay away from drinking while entertaining her clients.
It can be stressed that Rebecca also found out that none of her existing vendors or potential vendors thought any less of her because of her non-alcoholic lifestyle. To the contrary, she discovered that her potential vendors and existing vendors respected her for staying strong to her convictions.
After Rebecca went through alcohol rehabilitation, however, she found out that she was an individual who for whatever reason, could not drink responsibly and in moderation. In actual fact she learned the hard way that if she stayed away from drinking, all of the other important parts of her life would be upgraded. Every once-in-a-while, Rebecca missed drinking, but the better health, work performance, relationships, and the better finances she experienced more than offset her love of drinking.

Look ten years younger - how to
Sure, we all want an even complexion and brighter skin, but it's fair to say that there is a general obsession with most people over 40 with staying young. There are make-over shows, anti-ageing cosmetics galore and people willing to spend a small fortune on cosmetic surgery to delay the process of ageing as long as possible.
But, you don’t have to spend a fortune to look and feel your best. Here are ten easy and inexpensive ways to take years off of your appearance and keep it that way.
Dazzle them with brilliance – As we age our teeth tend to discolour due to the many cups of tea and coffee we have enjoyed and for some due to tobacco too.
Brighten your smile by using over the counter tooth whiteners or ask your dentist to help you out with professional grade options.
Moisturise - Dry skin looks very dull. Use a moisturizer on your face (including an eye cream) and also on your hands and body. It is especially important that your hands remain soft and supple as they are great at giving your age away! Keep some hand cream handy at your desk, in the car or by the sink. This rule applies to men just as much as it does to women.
Stay in the shade - The sun is dangerously damaging to your skin, this is nothing new, so make sure to protect yourself. If you have uneven pigmentation due to sun exposure in the past, at sites like Skin Lightening Advice you’ll find the best whitening cream articles, guidance and information.
Maintain your brows! Be sure to keep your brows neatly trimmed, especially between the eyes! Men should pay particular attention to this as they grow older and their eyebrows seem to take on a life of their own.
Say no to facial hair! Some people like their beards and goatees and that is okay, but if you want to look younger, you’ll achieve that more effectively if you’re clean shaven. Ladies…. head for the bleach!
Dark circles under your eyes - It is proven that you can fight dark circles by getting a good night’s sleep & eating well. Also, you could try an under-eye concealer.
Nose and ears – The cruel reality for men is that hairs begin to sprout from the most unlikely places as they age. You can pick up an ear and nose hair trimmer at your local chemist for just a few coins and they are simple and easy to use.
Wear colour! Both men and women (but especially men) tend to wear darker clothes as they get older. Try to brighten up your wardrobe with a few splashes of colour in a shade that complements your skin and eye colour.
From studious to stunning - Contact lenses will help you look years younger. If your budget stretches that far, consider lasik surgery to permanently correct vision problems.
Take a hike! Even if you just manage a quick walk around the block or a few minutes on an exercise bike, try to incorporate a little exercise into your daily routine. Exercise will help you maintain good posture, keep your weight in check, lessen stress (which causes wrinkles), and boost blood flow (which keeps your whole body well oxygenated), not to mention that it keeps you fit!

Free Tips To Help Increase Self-Esteem And Self-Confidence
Do you lack confidence? Would you like to find out ways in which you could increase your self-esteem and self-confidence? If you have answered either or both of these questions in the positive then this article may well be of interest to you.
Up until the age of about twenty-one I always seemed to have a lack of self-belief. I have to say that in reality I did not like myself. I was extremely jealous and envious of other people and what they seemingly had in comparison to me. They seemingly had it so easy where as for me life was a constant struggle. What I needed was to some how gain confidence.
I had a stutter you see which did make life unbearable at times. At the age of 22 I did manage to eradicate the stutter and it sure was worth the wait. I had however already spent the previous eighteen years struggling to cope with a stuttering or what is also known as stammering problem that virtually destroyed my entire confidence.
What I did learn and what was eventually a catalyst to enabling me to eradicate the speech impediment was that I needed to start appreciating what I had in life. I had to stop feeling sorry for myself and I needed to work hard at improving the areas of my life that I was not happy with – such as my speech.
I also needed to become a more care-free person – less stress etc. My whole approach to life had to change; I was now going to start to think in a positive manner.
I was attempting a huge overhaul of the way in which I lived my life, it was far from easy. Ultimately however all of the effort did pay off and I was able to achieve fluency and a real confidence.
I hope that you will also be able to gain in confidence; I will be happy to help in any way that I can.
As a successful businessmen I am now involved in various projects including one which offers online guitar lessons for beginners. This is a great deal fun as the lessons are very beneficial and the feedback thus far has been very positive.
