Beautiful Botanical Wales
Budding botanists are always wanting to discover new places with a variety of habitats and new flora and fauna to study. As one of only 5 places to be awarded an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Wales and the only coastal National park in the country, the Gower Peninsula providing a haven for some of the most beautiful and richest variety of flora and fauna is one of the country’s favourites.
Bounded by Loughor Estuary to the North and Swansea Bay to the East and surrounded by the Bristol Sea and Atlantic Ocean there are 70 square miles of untouched and unspoilt landscapes. A wide range of habitats are available providing superb opportunities for botanists and birdwatchers alike. From the dramatic limestone cliffs and soft sandy beaches on the shore, the woodland, grassland and heathland further inland and salt and fresh water marshland and nature reserves on the northern coast.
The National Trust partly owns and preserves the area and have been very successful in keeping it beautiful and unspoilt. Wild flowers and historical sites dot the landscape amongst menhirs, barrows and dolmens. With stunning scenic walks and pretty villages to potter in this is the perfect place to unwind and get back to nature.
The area is steeped in mythical legend and the bounty of archaeological sites, medieval castles, churches and Iron Age forts provide many things to do in the surrounding area. There are many of the most popular places to visit in Wales nearby including the Gower Heritage Centre, a rural life museum that documents and brings to live the age old traditions of the communities of the region and the award winning Wildfowl and Wetlands Centre.
The National Botanic Garden of Wales one of the most famous gardens to visit in the surrounding area. Celebrating its 10th anniversary it has a collection of over 100,000 different plants a beautiful 568 acre Regency park, the longest herbaceous border in Europe and is an absolute must for any keen botany enthusiasts visiting the area.

Birthday / Christmas Cards - A Guide For Buyers
Buying cards for people, whether it be for birthdays, Christmas or some other special occasion, is not something that most of us enjoy doing. It is not that we resent having to spend a few dollars on buying a card for someone, but rather that it always seems to be a last minute rush and we can never find one that matches the messages that we want to give. Buying cards is not something that we can just forget about doing though, so what can we do to make the process a better, more enjoyable one?
Getting a calendar to mark on the dates of birthdays throughout the year is an absolute must. You should also mark on it the date that you will go out and buy your Christmas cards and the latest date that you must send them by. It is important that you put this calendar in a prominent place and not shut it away in a draw. Placing it on your bedroom door or next to your kettle / phone is a good idea.
Having marked up your calendar, you need to make sure that you have the appropriate cards at the appropriate time. The main point is to avoid the last minute rushing about, and the best way to do that is to go bulk card shopping 3 or 4 times a year. Every few months, go out with a list of events that you need to buy cards for in the approaching months, and buy them all in one go.
Buying cards in bulk is no excuse for not still putting in the time to get the right card for the right person. People will notice if you have spent the time to choose one that is right for their personality. Work on a basis of around 5-10 minutes for choosing each card; so, if you have 5-6 cards to buy, then put aside an hour for buying them. Go to more than one store if you have to too, as the selection on offer from store to store can vary a lot.
A final option is to make your own cards. For creatively minded people, this is a great idea. The receiver of your cards will really appreciate the extra thought and effort that you put in. You could buy materials from an arts and crafts store or, if you prefer to avoid the mess, you could use an online card personalization service. The latter of those are becoming increasingly popular due to how easy the design process is and the competitiveness of the pricing.

Do Designer Swim Shorts Make A Difference
like many men you may agree that owning a pair of designer swim shorts in an utter waste of time, but this isn’t true as there are selective groups of men who swear that there “designer” swim shorts are very benefical.
Pros:
- It’s said women notice men who take pride in there appearance, this rule applies just as much for swim shorts as it does for shirts and shoes.
- it’s a given that spending more money on an item of clothing should improve quality and overall comfort clearing their pass produced counterparts out of the water.
- The challenge to be wearing the slickest clothes in town can be rather challenging although you’ll find wearing the best shorts on the beach much less competitive this ultimately indicates “higher value” to all that notice you’re branded shorts.
Cons:
- The quality may be on the same level or even worse which could prove to be disappointing and you’ve spent more money on the item on clothing.
- Some women may perceive you as a self loving try hard with too much money.
- You will never get much use of them which may seem like money wasted.
Be it on Antigua holidays in the Caribbean with your lady or on Thailand holidays with the boys you’ll always been noticed for having designers shorts if you have the right pair!
RULE OF THUMB: sports brands like Nike and addidas won’t cut it neither gets you any attention you may as well be wearing Speedo’s, if you’re going to look “the biz” on your Dominican republic Holidays
shorts I recommend :
Abercrombie & Fitch Swim shorts These are “the Ones” to own! There long (looking like a surfer which is always cool), comfortable and reasonably priced. The world renowned quality label is displayed down the right leg in big block capitals literally impossible to miss! These shorts will certainly get you noticed!!

How my Business trip turned into a holiday
Are you aware of the new holiday sweeping the world called “Liveaboard diving”? This is an easy holiday for people to arrange, all you need is a bloat and a plane ticket! Liveaboard holidays are mainly for people in groups, or for families, it could get very lonely if you went on your own.
Wondering what Liveaboard means? Well in simple truth all it is, is a boating holiday. This holiday you simply travel around on a luxury yacht, usually in a warm location, such as the Maldives. Taking the boat out to see is a joyous experience anyway, all you need is plenty of food, sun tan lotion and drink. I was lucky enough to be taken on one of these holidays for a business trip. After arriving in the Maldives, we went to a local port where our “Yacht” was waiting for us, it bore the name “Monsoon” on it’s side.
I had anticipated a sit down holiday where we would discuss business; however my client had other ideas. One day of work was all that my client wanted to do, so the rest was just holiday time. After the one business meeting, we headed off to many diving locations. Diving is one of my Forte’s and i have enjoyed it through my life, so I was in my element. If you are enjoying yourself it is quite difficult to keep a professional mind on your shoulders. We were even lucky enough to go free diving with a Whale Shark, I couldn’t believe our luck.
Basically I spent about 7 hours completing business and about 13 days diving in the warm tropics of the Indian Ocean, not bad going. Liveaboard diving is a must for everyone and anyone, although it is very expensive, it is well worth saving up for. This holiday has proven to be amazing. Everyone has wierd nasty thoughts about swimming alone in the ocean, but as long as the boat is in sight, it couldn’t be more relaxing and calming.
Diving holidays and Liveaboard diving is unmissable, not a very technical word, but there are few ways to explain it, so whey not give luxury holidays a go in the Maldives!
