Back when she was 16 and in high school in Tampa, Fla., Phillips designed sandals with interchangeable straps for fashionable flair as part of an artwork venture. In just a couple years, Switchflops was in flight as a legitimate fashion retail company. The Switchflops revenue projection for 2010 is a healthy $ 30 million.
The concept behind Switchflops is quite simple
Switchflops are a more budget-savvy way for consumers to expand their casual fashion shoe possibilities. Thanks to a wide array of strips, Phillips’ Switchflops give people the choices they’ve been craving. From buttons to bangles and beads, it is all there. The price is right, too: $ 35 for the sole with one strap, and $ 12 apiece for additional decorative straps. Each new strap makes for a fashionable, affordable new adventure. Now the adventure continues for Switchflops the business, as they sell other shoe types for adults and kids, also as fashion accessories like bags and scarves. Phillips’ fashion inventions are sold in more than 4,000 stores worldwide.
‘Everyone wore flip-flops to school, all of the time’
Phillips saw the need and filled it, displaying a classic entrepreneurial sense. The children at her high school loved to wear flip-flops to school (”Everyone wore them all the time,” she told AOL), however the casual shoes weren’t always probably the most fashionable shoe in and of themselves. Not all individuals could afford to purchase a pair for each day of the week. Switchflops would be the fashion solution, meeting the fashion and affordability needs head-on. I want some fitflops, please
Oh My Goodness – I’ve just seen the best thing! Shoes that you can wear that are both comfortable and help to tone and trim your legs - Fit Flops. Be aware when you first buy a pair of fitflops as you should limit your usage to 3 hours a day. They are marketed as the flip flop with the gym built in.
FitFlops are currently selling like hot cakes due to the sudden change in season (I can see some sunshine through my office window) and I’m still deliberating whether to buy a pair.
As I have a toddling baby, I suffer with back pains as he constantly requires lifting to give me lots of cuddles and kisses. I could also do with shedding a pound or two which I haven’t got round to losing since my pregnancy. I am not quite ready to spend out on fitflops.
I managed to avoid Uggs long enough to realise the disgusting state that they got into after wearing them for a while. In fact, perhaps after a long winter of Ugg wearing and treading down the back of your boots, FitFlops are what you need to sort out your posture again!
My lucky mum is going to be bought a pair of these for mothers day (so that she can test them out before I buy myself a pair).
Pink, blue, green, yellow and more - they come in loads of colours and types. FitFlop have had interest from shoe manuafacturers as large as hi-tec to create a saleable fitness shoe.
They are in the progress o recreating this new innovation for the male market. My father is really going to appreciate a gift of bum-toning fitflops this year.

Fit Flops Summer Craze
I am so excited, you won’t believe this, is it really real! Shoes that you can wear that are both comfortable and help to tone and trim your legs - Fit Flops. According to reviews, they are great if you have a back problem or aching joints too.
Apparently, when you first buy them, you should only wear them for 3 hours maximum a day as it really is like having a bottom work out. They are marketed as the flip flop with the gym built in.
FitFlops are currently selling like hot cakes due to the sudden change in season (I can see some sunshine through my office window) and I’m still deliberating whether to buy a pair.
