Last summer, 2009, I made a   decision; I bought a Keg-O-Rator,   . I had to convince the wife to get one,   she was fine with it. I placed it in my office, so that way I have something to look foreward to after work.

What are the benefits of a Keg-O-Rator? Well for one thing it is convenient to have one right in your office. But the main thing is the cost. I put a pony keg in filled with Bud Light, and the cost for a 12 ounce glass of beer, a little over 60 cents.

The Keg-O-Rator I have can hold at least three different kinds of beer kegs.

1. 1/2 barrel or commonly called a keg. Holds 15.5 gallons or 58.5 liters.
2. 1/4 barrel called a pony keg or quarter barrel. This hold 7.75 gallons or 30 liters
3. 1/6 barrel or sixth barrel which hold 5 gallons or 20 liters

Now when I first bought my Keg-O-Rator I purchased a pony keg. Then I advanced to a full keg. I suppose the best for a person who doesn’t entertain a lot is to purchase a pony keg. This way you can always have fresh beer and you can change brands more promptly if need be. I find a pony keg last me a little over a month, may last you longer or shorter depending on your thirst.

If you do get a Keg-O-Rator, do not use the plastic hose clamps that come with it. I used them and the clamps did not sealproperly, which allowed my gas tank to run out over night. Use metal hose clamps to seal the hoses coming from the gas cylinder.  You will have to purchase them seperately

Now I am not bragging about it but my Keg-O-Rator is the best thing since slice bread!
