Four Easy Decorating Tips For A Beautiful Cake
Some simple decorating tips for a beautiful cake include the following: the puffy and fuzzy technique, tropical palm tree design, soil and worms decorations, and flowerpot illusion.
Any kind of cake, whether decorated plainly or extravagantly, will always be the focal point of any occasion. Nonetheless, not all beautiful cakes require complex procedures; you just need a little amount of talent to create them. The following are several simple cakes that look terrific.
Puffy and fuzzy technique
Go to the food market and get a regular cake. Then, spread white icing over the cake. Get an ordinary neat plastic bag, fill it up with the same white topping and squeeze it towards one of the plastic bag’s bottom corners. Utilizing a sharp pair of scissors, cut off approximately 1/4 inch of the tip where the squeezed icing is so that you can create a pastry bag. Begin squeezing tiny drops of icing onto the top of the cake and all over it. Keep on doing this until you cover the whole cake with these pointed drops. Now you have a cake that is airy-looking, puffy and fuzzy, and will fit all birthday party ideas or any other memorable occasion.
Tropical palm tree style
Make a cake with a tropical theme with grocery-bought topping and a cake pan that is shaped like a palm tree. You can obtain this pan at cake stores that are both on the web and in your area, in gourmet stores, and in arts and crafts shops. Prepare and bake an ordinary cake using the palm tree-shaped baking pan. Then create the green foliage of the tree with icing that’s been colored green. To create green topping, you simply have to mix about 2-4 drops of green food coloring with a little can of the vanilla icing. Add drops of food coloring one at a time until you have just the correct hue that you want. Then mix two drops of red food coloring and 2 drops of purple food coloring into a little amount of vanilla icing to create the brown icing you will use for the trunk of the palm tree. Frost your palm tree cake and place it on a plate that is outlined with palm fronds.
Soil and worms decorations
Bake a cake, or get an ordinary one from the bakeshop that’s already baked, and spread brown icing over it. Create brown icing by coloring vanilla icing with two drops of red food coloring and 2 drops of purple food coloring and thoroughly blending them together. Then crush about 2 cups of chocolate wafers and sprinkle them atop the cake. Adorn the top of the cake with gummy worms that are poked partly into the cake so it will appear like the worms are squirming their way out of the cake.
Flowerpot illusion
Another easy cake you can create that not only looks complex but is also unique is a flowerpot cake. Purchase a good size clay flowerpot of your choice that is not painted on the inside and wash it meticulously. Line the inside with foil and also put a big straw upright and in the center of the pot. Next, put slices of cake inside the pot until you reach about 2 and half inches from the top of the pot, ensuring that the straw stays straight and in the center. Add about 2 inches of sorbet and sprinkle the top with crushed Oreo cookies. Clip the straw level with the top most layer of the cake and freeze the whole thing for a few hours. Before presenting the cake, cut a fresh flower and stick it into the straw in the cake.
A decorated cake, no matter how simple or ordinary it may seem, will always be appreciated by the recipient because it is a labor of love.
