March is generally known as National Nutrition Month and what smarter way to celebrate that then by giving family the present of a fruit basket. Although the nutritionary numbers of each basket is different going by to what is in it, here is a descriptions of the nutritional benefits of a couple of the most typical fruit found in a fruit basket.
Apples are the archetypical fruit for a fruit basket. Not only are citrus fruits common in baskets, they are also a symbolic representation of good luck and new beginnings . This is a great fruit to add in congratulatory or holiday fruit baskets.
