For the last month or so I have been racking my brain, trying to decide what on earth to get my fiance for his birthday   Concert tickets?  I did that last year.  A new sweater? It’s too hard to shop for clothes for other people   Then from somewhere on the other side of the house I hear the Florida Gators fight song, followed by my fiancé, “Go, Gators!”  And suddenly it comes to me.  What would the Gator’s biggest fan want for his birthday?   Anything orange and blue and anything with a Gator head on it. 

I wanted to make him something personalized and that he would find special.   Something that he couldn’t go into a fan store and buy.  We have a party every weekend during football season.   All of his friends come over and we have a cookout and watch the game.  I wanted to make his friends jealous by making him something that none of them had or could run out and get.  

I searched the Internet for ideas, coming up short until I stumbled upon a site that lets me custom make magnets.  It let me choose a custom size, and custom color magnet that would be perfect for my fiancé’s birthday. 
First, I chose a size for my custom designed magnetic sign; 12 x 12.  Not, too big and not to small.  It was going to be put on the front door of our house.   Then I chose a background color for my custom magnetic sign; dark blue.    Then, on the very top of my custom designed magnetic sign I put my text, “If you ain’t a Gator, you’re Gator Bait.”  I was able to choose the font size and text.

I left the top half of the custom designed magnetic sign blank so that I could also purchase the names of their biggest rivals on a 6 x 6 inch custom magnetic sign so that when the Gators play one of their rivals my fiancé could put on the custom designed magnet of the team that they are playing during his parties.   

I just know that he will love his magnetic sign that I custom designed for him, and I love it because I didn’t have to leave the house and actually go into a Gator fan store.  Have you ever been in one?  It’s like a different world.  Even the smallest of items costs an arm and a leg.   With a magnetic sign, I custom designed it and I don’t have to pay for gas, or sit in traffic because I bought it online.   Too easy!!
