When Do Most Swimming Pool Products Gets Sold?
In some places like Florida, the Caribbean and Hawaii, as it’s hot all year long you can use swimming pools anytime you wish. So you won’t have to look at trends in this places if you wish to sell pool equipments such as automatic pool cleaners or swimming pool chemicals, as the products can be sold at all times. But in countries such as UK, Germany and others there are four seasons, in which case the swimming pool products won’t be selling in the same ratio during winter as it does during the summer time unless people have indoor pool installed.
If you are just concentrating in promoting your products just for the summer then you should look at promoting the products from December or January time either offline or online. You should be looking to promote the products 5 to 6 months before the summer through both offline and online marketing. To be honest you should carry the advertisement all year long and even look at targeting international market. Because people who own an indoor pool will definitely search for products during the winter, there are potential business to gain from that.
In Florida, the Caribbean and Hawaii the swimming pool stores are open all year long, I mean the hard shop. The reason behind this is because of the temperature being similar throughout the whole year. That is why people go there for holidays. Another thing about target the international market you can look at countries such as Australia and South Africa. All you have to worry about is the shipment but you will be able to target these countries in their summer which is around November, December and January time where it is winter in the UK.
