Spanish Style Left Handed Acoustic

One of the most difficult things to do as a lefty acoustic guitar beginner is finding a decent instrument to play. This is especially true if you aren’t exactly a wealthy person and the funds are tight. When I ran into this Spanish style arrangement, I rejoiced. This was not only a six string instrument but a deal that I would need to start out as a lefty guitar student.

Spanish Style Guitar

First, there is the guitar itself. Understand that this is a Spanish guitar, so the strings are standard nylon, not steel. It should be noted that steel strings can NOT be installed on Spanish guitars due to the bridge type, tuners and nut. All are nylon string specific.

This is a rather small model of dreadnought body style at a total of 38″ from the end of body to the tip of the headstock. The neck joins the body at about the 12th fret and only offers 18 frets overall. With a 25″ scale, you can see that the body is a bit small, but that is not a bad thing. This guitar is about sound, not size.

Sound Value

As far as guitar sound goes, this Valencia Spanish style left handed guitar is a sonic masterpiece in the deal range (below $175 in a good number of shops). This is often found in guitars twice the price. Around the bass sound hole can be a decorative rosette that offsets the finish nicely. Now the little body works in conjunction with a modest stature guitar neck to produce many lovely bass tones as well as keeps the higher notes clean. Not Gibson or Fender crisp, however nice nonetheless.

Adding to this value is all the Natowood fret board and bridge, Basswood back and sides and the top is (I believe) maple. The components are used in guitars of top quality, so the added value is easy to see. The bass sound is transferred evenly and smoothly from the neck to the guitar body via a set joint guitar neck. This allows the vibrations from the guitar neck to be enhanced by the guitar body and directed to the guitar sound hole almost mechanically.

What else in the Deal?

This acoustic left handed acoustic guitar is complete with a nylon carry bag and an instructional DVD to round out the deal. All an individual need is get a little time to gain knowledge in the strumming. Once more, remember that this is a classical Spanish lefty guitar arrangement with the focus on the classical Flamenco sounds emanating from nylon strings.

For Novices

This particular guitar can be a fantastic deal for a beginner or hobby participant. Especially for teenagers that decide they need a guitar and then leave it in the corner of their house idle after a few courses. Nonetheless, it is a great little guitar that delivers value, decent sound along with quality materials for a decent asking price.

I have already been playing for over twenty years myself and would absolutely acquire this specific Spanish styling guitar, with the nylon string tone as a bonus. Get yourself a left handed acoustic deal to start your journey into musicianship.
