Blackbeard was working today, but that did not mean that he could not dream about the shopping list that his wife had given him before he left. Some of the items on it were ones that he had been dreaming of getting, but now his wife was telling him that it was okay for him to do so. As long as he could locate the items before the end of the day today.

He looked at the list again and seen that it was not like most of the lists. This was actually the list that he had dreamed of getting and she was finally letting him get most of the things. The items on the list included the mongoose mountain bike that he had always dreamed of having. He had even started saving money, but when little Blackbeard came into the picture that money went away quickly, but she was finally telling him that he could get it.

He glanced around and seen that the park was finally starting to empty out of people. They had closed about ten minutes earlier, but he had to stay until the crowd was gone. That was the downside to being the man with the sword. He was told to keep everything in order. The problem was that he was now going to have to rush if he wanted to reach the stores before they closed.

To help him save time he decided that he would wear the costume home. That was sure to draw quite a few looks seeing a pirate walking around the streets of Miami, but that might look normal to some people though. He knew that clothing shop though might get some attention because he was after a pair of pearl izumi shorts. Some people started giving him worrying looks inside the store, but that was because he still had his sword, but he quickly told them what he did for a living and they understood.

After leaving there he ran over to the bike shop hoping to make it before he left. Thankfully the manager knew him and let him in even after the doors closed. He told him that he was going to purchase a set of diamondback bikes. He knew that his wife had told him to get the other one, but he was going to get the one that he knew they could both use and be happy with.

As he walked out of the bike shop he knew that he did the right thing. His wife had been wanting these since they had gotten married and this was finally going to be his chance to give her something that she had wanted. She always seemed to be giving him all that he wanted, but not today.

When he reached his house he blew the horn to let his wife know that he was home. She walked out into the driveway to greet him just as he was pulling the purchases out of the bed of his truck. She looked at him and then with some tears streaming down her face told her that she loved him more than he would ever know.
