Up until recent times most men were happy to wash their faces using industrial strength soap and then dry their faces with a towel liek a sheet of sandpaper. Today’s modern man is far more likely to use a selection of face and skincare products carefully formulated to address the specific requirements of men’s skin.

Men have become aware of how much better their skin can feel and how great they can look if they pay a little attention to their regular skincare routine. It may be surprising to hear that many regular soaps actually contain ingredients that can be harmful to the skin. While this approach may get the skin clean by removing grime and grease it will also strip the skin of its natural lubrication making it dry, flaky and uncomfortable.

Many men today have discovered that facial cleansers are a far gentler way to clean the face. However, not all cleansers are free of potentially damaging ingredients.
