Strength training for golf is essential to helping you create a more powerful golf swing and help increase your longevity in the game. If not monitored properly and strength training can bring you some unnecessary results.

I am going to get very specific in the most important area to focus on while training is the importance of having a strong core. This is your midsection that I’m talking about. Usually people tend to focus on bulking up their guns and think they have the power. But never focus on abs and back muscles which is potentially dangerous because you can have a huge muscle imbalance causing serious injury.
