Bigger and Bolder: Latest Sunglass Trends
Author: Bei Maniago
Yep, when it comes to sunglasses, huge lenses that come with glitters and in different shades of color are what’s hot in the market. The retro look is still widely popular, with these updated little ensembles gearing toward complimenting a combination of sporty yet fashionable lifestyles. Consider the simple yet sharply sophisticated designs of designer aviator sunglasses from Polo and Giorgio Armani, and of course, Ray-Ban. And when it comes to detailing, bold is the word. Designer brands like Gucci, Chanel, and Bulgari opt not to be subtle and understated this year, showcasing their logos in glittering crystals at the temple and studding the arms with gemstones. And it that wasn’t enough, neon-colored frames are also included in the fashion must-haves of the season, complimenting the lively hues found in runways. Check out the burnt orange wraparound sunglass from Armani Exchange, the vivid bright pink offering from Roger Vivier that comes with buckle detail, and the multi-colored frames from Selima. Suffice to say these pairs are not for the timid and fainthearted. And who wouldn’t want to don a pair of wraparound sunglasses and strut it like a superstar? These sporty accessories are still the choice eyewear of celebrities and stars like Bono and Kate Moss.
But what about those blessed with exquisite fashion sense but cannot afford to shell out hundreds of buck for a pair of designer eyeglasses? It is for this market that replica sunglasses are geared toward. With styles and looks inspired by designer brands, replica sunglasses offer the same look but without the unbelievably expensive price tags. All of the products offered are not just trendy and eye-catching, they are also of high quality. Retailers of replica sunglasses offer opportunities for fashion conscious individuals to get into the latest trends and styles without sacrificing affordability.
With the availability of replica sunglasses through several online retailers, your fashion sense does not have to take a back seat to all the other practical decisions you may make. After all, you can be trendy all you want without breaking that proverbial bank.

Buying Sunglasses for Yourself
Author: Kirk Bachelder
Here’s a fact- over $2.5 million was spent in USA alone to purchase 270 million sunglasses. You might be a traffic cop, a student, a banker, or a biker, but those cool shades have become a part of you. Often times, sunglasses are bought because they look ‘cool’. With brands like Bausch & Lomb, Vuarnet, Oakley, Killy, Hobie, Serengeti and many more, offering sunglasses in all shapes, sizes, colors and designs… who can blame you? The trend has caught on and it looks like it is here to stay.
In all seriousness, sunglasses should be bought with the aim of protecting your eyes from ultraviolet (UV) radiation. When sunlight that is reflected of snow or sand hits your eyes you could get a case of ’snow blindness’. In worse case scenarios, ultraviolet radiation can cause permanent retina damage and cataracts. UV rays can affect you even when you are not standing in broad daylight. These rays can come through even on a cloudy day. People who have a history of cataracts and retinal dystrophies should be extra careful to use suitable sunglasses.
Different people buy different sunglasses depending on their occupation, style, gender and general fancy. For example, people involved in high-impact sports may opt for the Polycarbonate lens, which does not shatter easily. Polarized sunglasses are chosen for those who love water sports because it takes care of the glare factor. Mirrored glasses are also a hot favorite for people skiing the slopes or swimming.
If you need to buy a pair, don't judge the sunglasses by its price. An expensive pair may not protect your eyes but will only give you a glamorous look. When buying sunglasses it is wise to make sure that they have a UV coating. Also note if the brand tells you to what extent it blocks UV rays. Ideally UV rays should be blocked 99% to 100%. Mirror coated sunglasses look very trendy, however, not all mirror-coated glasses block harmful UV rays. Gradient tints also look fashionable and come in two varieties- single gradient and double gradient. Each is used for a different purpose but does not protect you from UV rays unless it has a UV coating.
Today’s market offers wrap around sunglasses, which allow complete protection for your eyes especially from wind and debris. Photochromic sunglasses adjust the darkness and lightness depending on the light outside, but could take about thirty seconds to adjust accordingly.
You can choose from a wide selection of sunglasses that come in different colors. Years ago, black was considered the standard and it is still very popular. With designer sunglasses sporting the stands, you now have reds, greens, blues, yellows and several other shades. The sunglasses you choose could be dependant on your social circle and personal preference. Some people believe dark black sunglasses will protect your eyes. It will not unless it has a UV coating, which happens to be colorless. If you already wear glasses you could get your doctor to prescribe prescription sunglasses or you could opt for photochromic glasses.

Designer Sunglasses : Are They Really Worth The Money ?
Author: Susan Dean
It really depends on whom you ask about designer sunglasses being worth it or not. Many people will tell you they are and then many people will tell you they are not. It all comes down to priorities. What one person holds dear another may not. Some people believe if you pay a lot of money for designer sunglasses then you have the best but what is the best?
Sure, paying for a name brand you would think would guarantee you a pair of glasses that are made from very good materials and would give you maximum UV protection from the sun. And most likely this is true for many brands. But there are still reputable manufacturers out there that make maximum UV protection sunglasses that are also fashionable and long lasting for budget prices. They just do not have a designer name attached to them.
For the majority of people who do buy sunglasses, a designer name is not important and that is probably because they know they cannot afford them so they look to prices they can afford. The fashion industry is a very fierce industry and in this day and age there are many manufacturers producing sun protective eyewear so it will always be a competitive market. This is good for you the consumer because that means bargains.
If you look around and in particularly online you will find that there are lots of opportunities to find a great looking pair of sunglasses that also offer maximum UV protection. You do not need designer brand names. But of course if you do want a designer pair then you will also find discounted options when looking online.
The important thing is that you find a pair that you like the look of, has high UV protection and is at a price that you can afford. Any product is only worth it if you can afford it.

Sunglasses 101
Protect your eyes and look great with a fabulous pair of sunglasses!
Sunglasses are one of the easiest ways to protect your eyes from sun damage. Whether you are a trendy fashionista with an eye on the trends, or a bargain hunter, there is definitely a pair of sunglasses out there for you. As long as your sunglasses have certified U.V protection, your eyes will be protected.
While most of us love to bask in the sun’s rays, the light can actually harm you. Three types of light will cause injury to your eyes if you are not properly protected. They are: ultraviolet radiation (often called UV rays), bright or intense light, and blue light. UV rays carry more energy than visible light, so your eyes are at risk when they absorb UV radiation. Two types of UV rays actually reach the Earth's surface: UVB rays and UVB rays. These are the rays that can cause several different eye diseases and UVB rays are linked to skin cancer. Any damage that happens to the eyes via UVB and UVA rays happens over long periods of time and can’t be reversed, so make sure you wear a good pair of sunglasses when you are outdoors.
Sunglasses can greatly minimize your risk of eye damage. A great pair of sunglasses can protect your eyes against UV rays, bright light, and blue light. Sunglasses also act as a safety device; when you are driving, they can help reduce glare and improve your visibility on the road. Be sure to wear sunglasses whenever you are out in bright sunlight, especially between 11:00am and 4:00pm when the sun's rays are the strongest.
Choosing the right pair for you
Always try sunglasses on before you buy. Make sure the lenses are dark enough to keep out the bright light, just make sure that your vision isn’t reduced. If you are going to be outdoors for long periods of time in intense glare from sunlight reflecting off water or snow, try wearing sunglasses that specifically block blue light. Sunglasses with medium to dark lenses and gray, brown, or green tinted lenses will filter out blue light the best.
Most sunglasses have plastic lenses; these are tougher than glass and less likely to shatter. Make sure your plastic lenses have a scratch-resistant coating. When you are trying them on, try looking around at different objects, this will help you determine the amount of distortion the lenses have.
Different lenses
• Regular lenses reduce brightness
• Poloarized lenses eliminate the glare that you get from reflection. These are great for driving and any outdoor activities that involve being around water or snow.
• Photochromatic lenses change with the amount of UV light they are exposed to by turning darker when outdoors.
• Flash or mirror lenses will reflect all or part of the light rays instead of absorbing it. The downfall: they scratch easily.

Wholesale Sunglasses
Finding the latest styles of wholesale sunglasses can be a challenge. However, shopping for this item online is much easier. You need to be aware of the joys and challenges of shopping for this accessory from your home or office.
The biggest advantage of shopping for quality sunglasses online is the huge selection available to you. You can find styles of brand named-models that you have not ever seen in stores. The second advantage is that you can have them shipped right to your door without even talking to a single person.
Individuals and retailers have been able to order wholesale sunglasses in small or large lots. Some of the brands of this type of eye wear include Nike, Prada, Ralph Lauren, Diesel, DKNY, etc. Replicas of these brands can be found online as well.
The unfortunate disadvantage of shopping online is you may not always get what you pay for. However, most sellers are honest, and in order to ensure you do receive the item you ordered you might want to start shopping at online shops that bear a company name you recognize.
For example, if you want to buy a pair of Prada sunglasses you may want to go to the Prada site directly. On the other hand, you may not be able to order wholesale from a Prada store. Instead, you will need to contact a Prada manufacturer.
Other places where you can find wholesale lots of quality sunglasses would be at popular sites such as eBay. Plenty of reputable sellers have helped individual sellers and retailers stock their shelves. Additionally, honest merchants have helped individual consumers save quite a bit of money on brand-name merchandise.
You can even save more money on quality wholesale sunglasses by ordered replicas of name brand eyewear styles. In fact, you would be surprised how well-made off-brand models of accessory eyewear are. If you find the right company to supply your brand name replica glasses you could save your self or your company up to hundreds of dollars per pair. Note only buy legal sunglasses without the name brands or logos on them.
If you are a retailer, there is another upside to purchasing wholesale lots of sunglasses online. You can have them sent to you, and you can run a store in your own home without the expense of factory overhead. This cuts down the cost of your e-business tremendously.
Furthermore, whether you are an individual looking for a good shopping deal on holiday gifts or a mass retailer you can shop for multiple styles at once. It is possible for you to receive many different shapes, sizes, and colors of sunglasses sent directly to you within a few days.
Sometimes the shipping times for these items are even less if you are willing to pay the right price. Usually shipping method would be specified when you order your product.
If you have never shopped online before and you want to learn how keep in mine the following online shopping tips: Credit Card or Debit Card with online a limited amount of funds attached is the best. Furthermore, make sure you only give your name and financial information as well as any other identification to companies you trust.
